Hi - I’m Stevesie. You may remember me from projects such as:
The Toxic Crusaders [Video Game - Retroware - 2024],
Ring Cats [Comic series - 2024 onwards],
or other projects that are NDA’d at the time I’m typing this!
In my career I’ve been an Animator, Illustrator, Character Designer, Comic Artist - among other things - but in all my work I’ve remained a 2D obsessive.
A wide range of artists have inspired me, from Walt Disney, Katsuhiro Otomo, Akira Toriyama - through to artists like Genndy Tartakovsky and Osamu Tezuka and Jamie Hewlett. These influences drove me to create my own strong, versatile style, yet recognisable style!
Higher education gave me the opportunity to bring my sketch book ideas to life and allowed my illustration style and language to develop and strengthen. I studied animation at the University of Lincoln and was awarded a 1st Degree honours. I was the highest graded student in my year.
Since then I’ve continued to work in the world of animation, illustration and comic books, and whilst my roles have often changed my passion never has.
I’ve worked in the illustration/comics and animation industry for the last 15 years.
I’m always looking for new artwork adventures…
